North Tryon Street in Charlotte is closed after fatal accident

CHARLOTTE, NC (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are investigating a fatal car crash in the 5800 block of North Tryon Street.

North Tryon Street is closed in both directions.

Officials advise avoiding the area and taking alternative routes.
