Fourth victim of fatal attack in rural Linn County dies

POLICE SAY LUKE TRUESDALE BEAT FOUR PEOPLE WITH A METAL PIPE IN LINN COUNTY LAST WEEK. RAYMOND COOPER, KIONA RYAN AND AMANDA PARKER WERE FOUND DEAD AT THE CRIME STATION. A HEALTH SPECIALIST DECLARED BRANT BROWN DEAD ON FRIDAY, BUT AUTHORITIES HAVE ONLY RELEASED THE NEW INFORMATION IN THE LAST HOURS. INVESTIGATORS SAY THE SUSPECT HAS HOPED THE MURDERS WOULD BE FILMED. Fourth victim of rural Linn County murders succumbs to injuries

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office reports that Brent Brown, the fourth victim of an attack that left three other people dead in rural Linn County on Wednesday, has succumbed to his injuries, KCRG reports.The Johnson County Coroner pronounced Brown dead on Friday. He was 34.Luke Truesdell is now charged with four counts of first-degree murder. Officials said the attack occurred Wednesday when police found three people — Romondus Cooper, Keonna Ryan and Amanda Parker — dead in an outbuilding in the 3600 block of East Otter Road in northern Linn County. Investigators said Truesdell admitted to beating four people with a metal pipe. Truesdell is scheduled to appear in court Monday on this new, fourth charge of first-degree murder.Brown’s body will be taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Ankeny for an autopsy.
