Late rally fails in IronPigs’ 6-4 loss to Buffalo | Sports

ALLENTOWN — Lehigh Valley won the series against Buffalo but lost the final game 6-4 Sunday at Coca-Cola Park.

Trailing 6-0, the IronPigs returned to the game with a four-run eighth inning. Símon Muzziotti led off the frame with a solo homer and Esteban Quiroz added a three-run blast four batters later for Lehigh Valley.

The IronPigs are scheduled to begin a six-game series at Syracuse on Tuesday.
