Carol Kaplan obituary – Buffalo Grove, IL

Carol (Silver) Kaplan, née Yale She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Marion (Goldsmith) Yale, her two sisters, Jean Podolsky and Edna Dvore, and her daughter Leslie who died shortly after birth. She is survived by her husband Larry Silver and her three children Alan (Patty), Janet and Lawrence (Deni) Kaplan. She is also survived by six grandchildren – Rachel, Aaron, Lexi, Richard, Nicola and Danielle – as well as her husband’s children and grandchildren and her faithful four-legged companion, Yoda. We will miss her very much! A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove, Illinois (one block north of Lake Cook Road). An additional reception will be held at a later date in Scottsdale, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League, the American Cancer Society or Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, Arizona.
