Rescue helicopter requested after off-road vehicle accident in Homer City

Two teenagers were injured in an all-terrain vehicle crash at the intersection of South Main and East Church Streets in Homer City Borough Sunday afternoon.

The accident occurred just before 5 p.m. Life Flight was called and transported one of the two victims to Forbes Regional as a precautionary measure, as HCVFD Chief Terry Gardner put it. The second teen was transferred to adult care and taken to IRMC for minor injuries.
