Chapel Hill Police ask public for help in locating hit-and-run driver and injured cyclist

The incident occurred around 9:55 a.m. at the intersection of W. Franklin Street and Kenan Street, where Beasley allegedly struck a bicyclist.

She was initially stopped at the scene of the accident, but fled without exchanging information with the injured cyclist.

The cyclist was taken to UNC Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Beasley is said to be driving a black Honda Pilot with the North Carolina license plate TFL-4785.

Chapel Hill police have issued arrest warrants for them on charges of hit-and-run and dangerous driving.

Anyone with information on Beasley’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 919-968-2760 immediately.
