Police are trying to determine who was behind the wheel of an SUV when it struck five vehicles, injuring two people. Hinesville Police say it happened last Monday, June 3, before 11 a.m. on Veterans Parkway near Lowe’s and Fort Stewart. Officers say the driver of the silver 2010 Mazda CX7 was involved in the multi-vehicle crash but drove into the Lowe’s parking lot immediately afterward without stopping. According to HPD, the Mazda has a bent hood on the passenger side, tires with raised white lettering on the sidewall, and clear taillight lenses. If you recognize this vehicle or know who may have been behind the wheel, you are asked to call the Hinesville Police Traffic Accident Investigation Unit.

Officials said the driver of the silver 2010 Mazda CX7 was involved in the multi-vehicle crash but immediately drove into the Lowe’s parking lot without stopping.

According to HPD, the Mazda features a curved hood on the passenger side, tires with raised white lettering on the sidewall, and clear taillight lenses.
