One person was killed in a crash in Troy on Saturday. New Hampshire State Police said they received a report of a single-car crash on Route 12 near Lawrence Road just before midnight. Authorities said the driver, 54-year-old Stephen Despinosa of Troy, ran off the road and hit a large rock, causing the car to roll over. There was no one else in the car. First responders began providing life-saving measures to Despinosa. Authorities said he later died from his injuries. State police said the cause of the crash was under investigation. However, they said alcohol appears to be a factor.

One person was killed in a crash in Troy on Saturday.

New Hampshire State Police said they received a report of a single-car accident on Route 12 near Lawrence Road just before midnight.

According to authorities, the driver, identified as 54-year-old Stephen Despinosa of Troy, veered off the road and struck a large rock, causing the car to roll over. No one else was in the car.

First responders began providing life-saving measures to Despinosa. Authorities said he later died from his injuries.
