Man killed by gunfire in Whitehaven, police say

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – A man was shot dead in Westhaven, police said.

According to Memphis police, officers responded to the 4700 block of Jonetta Street, near Shelby Drive, shortly before 11:30 p.m. on June 8 for a shooting.

The injured man was taken to Regional One Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
