Man dead after fatal shooting in southwest Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – Police say a man was killed in a shooting in southwest Memphis late Saturday night.

On June 8 at 11:21 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 4700 block of Jonetta Street. Officers found a male victim with apparent gunshot wounds.

He was taken to Regional One in critical condition, where he was eventually pronounced dead.
