19-year-old Oakdale resident dies in motorcycle crash on Highway 132

STANISLAUS COUNTY – A 19-year-old died in a motorcycle accident near the community of Roberts Ferry early Saturday afternoon.

The California Highway Patrol said it received a report of an accident on Highway 132 at Crabtree Road shortly before 2:30 p.m.

The rescue workers soon discovered that a motorcycle had crashed at the intersection.

The driver, a 19-year-old Oakdale resident, died at the scene, CHP said.

Investigators believe the driver attempted to turn left onto Crabtree Road when he lost control, crashed and struck a barbed wire fence.

Authorities have not released the name of the driver.
