Ocala teenager killed, driver and toddler seriously injured in crash on CR 484

An 18-year-old Ocala woman was killed and two others, including a 2-year-old boy, were seriously injured when their vehicle was involved in a crash on County Road 484.

The fatal accident occurred on Saturday, June 8, at around 4:42 p.m. near the intersection of CR 484 and SW 95th Circle

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, a 20-year-old man from Ocala was driving a sedan in the right-turn lane heading south on SW 95th Circle.

The vehicle entered the intersection with CR 484, where it was struck on the left side by a pickup truck driven by a 43-year-old man from Minneola.

After the collision, both vehicles came to a stop on the south shoulder of CR 484.

The driver of the sedan was in critical condition. The condition of a two-year-old male passenger in the vehicle was serious.

The driver of the other vehicle and his passengers, a 38-year-old woman and a 2-year-old boy, both of Minneola, were not injured in the accident.
