Man dies in motorcycle accident in Jumla

JUMLA, June 9: One person was killed in a motorcycle accident in Patarasi Rural Municipality, Jumla. The motorcycle (Ka 1 Pa 2077) met with an accident in Tallo Larpo, Patarasi Rural Municipality-5 on Saturday at 8:30 p.m.

Umesh Chandra, the District Police Office’s spokesperson, confirmed that Min Bahadur Budha, 29, a resident of Patarasi-5, succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.

According to police reports, Budha was seriously injured and died while receiving medical treatment at the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences in Jumla. Budha’s relatives immediately rushed him to the academy in a municipal ambulance.

Investigations revealed that the motorcycle left the road and fell about 75 meters into the Juwa River because it lost control on the narrow and bumpy road.
