The NASCAR Cup Series paddock is preparing to return to racing on the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval this season, replacing the circuit race that has been held on the Indy 500 track for the past few years. Recently, NASCAR organized a test session at the track, which was attended by the two-time Cup champion.

The test did not go as planned for the Richard Childress Racing driver as he had an accident despite not being under pressure. Kyle Busch mentioned the incident and said that he lost control while driving and ended up hitting the wall. He stressed that he had a good time at Indy despite the incident.

Kyle Busch had an accident during tire testing at Indy. The accident had nothing to do with the tires. He explained what happened and how he experienced it when he returned to the oval at the Brickyard.

The future Hall of Famer is going through one of the most difficult phases of his career in terms of performance. He has not been able to fight for victories as consistently as he usually does and the last few weeks have been particularly tough for him. The accident in Indy is just another disappointment on Busch’s list.

Joe Gibbs Racing veteran and former teammate of Kyle Busch also took part in the testing at Indy. Although he enjoyed the experience like Busch, he doesn’t have high expectations for the event after the tire test. He mentioned that he doesn’t expect the usual exciting style of racing at the Brickyard.

It will be interesting to see how the racing at the Indy Oval plays out, as fans have high hopes for the Brickyard 400. If the racing doesn’t live up to expectations, it could potentially impact the legendary track’s race schedule.
