One dead and one injured in multi-vehicle crash in Orange County

ORANGE – At least one person was killed and another person injured in a multi-vehicle crash Saturday morning on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Orange, authorities said.

The accident occurred at about 3:35 a.m. on the northbound Garden Grove (22) Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene and paramedics took at least one person to a hospital.

No further information was available.
