Fond du Lac Police Investigate Shooting

On Saturday, June 8, 2024, at approximately 4:21 p.m., Fond du Lac Police and City of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue responded to a man in the area of ​​175 Hamilton Place who had been shot in the leg.

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officers arrived on scene to provide medical aid to the man with a gunshot wound to the leg. Fond du Lac Police Department officers arrived in the Bearcat armored rescue vehicle. The man was loaded into the Bearcat and transported to an ambulance waiting in the area. The 20-year-old Fond du Lac man is in stable condition.

Fond du Lac Police have issued a temporary statewide arrest warrant for 32-year-old Ansheretta A. West for first-degree reckless endangerment of safety. Anyone with information on Ansheretta’s whereabouts should contact the City of Fond du Lac Police at (920) 906-5555.
