Firefighters removed a partially melted garbage can from the backyard and extinguished it on the street.

Public safety spokeswoman Monica Williams said the “original cause of the fire is still under investigation,” but confirmed the fire started outdoors and spread to the home.

“There are no reports of injuries,” Williams said.
