Amber Alert: Man wanted for kidnapping 1-year-old in Los Angeles County

An Amber Alert was issued overnight for a child abduction in Los Angeles County.

Police are searching for 46-year-old Wesley Williams, who is suspected of taking 1-year-old Weston Landrum. according to the California Highway Patrol who posted the warning shortly after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.


Williams was last seen on North Grand Avenue in West Covina around 9 p.m. Monday

Officials said Williams was driving a white 2014 Toyota Tacoma with California license plate 75001B3.

Details of the abduction were not released, but the CHP said the child had blonde hair and blue eyes and was wearing camouflage pants and a gray shirt with a picture of a “bunny.”

Weston is only 3 feet tall and weighs about 20 pounds.

Williams is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 190 pounds.

He has brown hair and blue eyes, was wearing a Hawaiian shirt, blue jeans, gray-blue shoes and has a wing tattoo on the front of his neck.
