1 dead, several injured after shooting and stabbing at Lake Berryessa, Napa County sheriff says

NAPA COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) – One person is dead and several people are injured in a shooting and stabbing attack in the Oak Shore Day Use area of ​​Lake Berryessa on Saturday, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident was first reported at 5:30 p.m. when officers were called to a report of a fight between people in the area.

During the altercation, shots were fired and an adult male was shot, according to the sheriff’s office. Two victims of the stabbing were reportedly flown by helicopter to local hospitals with serious injuries, but their conditions are unknown. The sheriff’s office says several other victims of the stabbing are being treated at local hospitals, but the number of victims is currently unknown.
