Accident leads to power line failure and temporary road closure in Edgewood – Baltimore Sun

A car accident caused a temporary road closure and power line outage in Edgewood on Saturday evening.

According to the Harford County Department of Emergency Services, the accident occurred around 7 p.m. near Willoughby Beach Road at Bauer Drive. The collision downed a power line and forced Willoughby Beach Road to be closed.

In order to free the driver, part of the vehicle’s roof had to be removed. Authorities did not provide any information on the driver’s condition on Saturday evening.

Authorities have contacted BGE, but it is unclear whether there was a power outage.
