Ryan Garcia arrested for vandalism in LA and caught on video being led away in handcuffs

Ryan Garcia was arrested on Saturday afternoon for vandalism at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills … and TMZ Sports has a video in which the superstar boxer is led away in handcuffs by police officers.

According to law enforcement sources, the boxer was arrested and taken into custody after allegedly damaging hotel property, including his room and the hallway.

In California, any damage over $400 can be considered a crime.

We obtained video showing Beverly Hills police escorting Garcia out of the Waldorf to a patrol car. While Garcia’s face cannot be seen — it’s obscured by a helmet — Ryan’s large back tattoos are visible.

The 25:1 fighter, who according to our information was apparently under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, complied with the authorities’ instructions and left peacefully.

Eyewitnesses report seeing nearly a dozen police cars in front of the hotel, presumably responding to the incident.

This is not the first time an incident has occurred at Garcia’s high-priced hotel.

On Wednesday, police responded to the Waldorf for a welfare check after a family member of Ryan’s was concerned he might need help. According to our sources, RG seemed OK and the cops left.

Later that night, we were told that Garcia had misbehaved and the hotel had banned him from drinking.

Ryan was photographed the next day walking with his brother, and nothing seemed unusual.

Of course Ryan suggested Devin Haney At the beginning of the year in what many as a big surpriseAfter the fight it was announced that Garcia tested positive for a banned substance. He insists that he did not intentionally take anything banned.

He is also struggling with personal problems. According to the fighter, his mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

Garcia is currently in custody.

We have asked his team for comment but have not received a response yet.
