Kentwood police search for missing disabled teenager

KENTWOOD, Michigan (WOOD) – Kentwood police are searching for a missing 17-year-old girl with developmental disabilities and missing medications.

According to a Kentwood police press release, Cecilia Tedders left the area on foot around 2 p.m. Saturday. She was last seen in the 3300 block of 36th Street SE, near Shaffer Avenue, the press release said. Police say she may be in danger.

According to police, she is about 1.50 m tall and has reddish-brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, blue denim overall shorts, white tennis shoes and white socks. She may also have had a brown checked backpack with her.
