15-year-old boy almost drowns in Manchester on Saturday: police

The incident occurred at the Millbridge Hollow Condominiums on Prospect Street.

MANCHESTER, Connecticut – Early Saturday afternoon, Manchester police responded to a drowning incident at the Millbridge Hollow Condominiums on Prospect Street, according to a Manchester police news release.

Police arrived at around 1:08 p.m. and found a 15-year-old boy in need of immediate assistance and medical attention after being pulled from the pool by passersby, Manchester police said.

According to police, first responders immediately cared for the boy before he was taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford.

Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident, the press release said. The boy’s name is not being released at this time and his condition was unknown early Saturday evening, police said.
