Hawaii police ask public for help in locating man last seen in Kona: Big Island Now

Hawaii Island Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 53-year-old man who was reported missing.

Roger Tolar was last seen in Kailua-Kona around 7 a.m. Thursday. It is unknown what clothing he was wearing.

Tolar is Hawaiian, 5’8″, 200 pounds, and has brownish-gray hair. Tolar may require medication and is known to visit Kona frequently.

Police are asking anyone with information on Tolar’s whereabouts to contact Officer Eli Cayetano at the department’s non-emergency number at 808-935-3311 or [email protected].

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
