Jeremy Renner revealed he ‘died’ after snowplow accident, co-star claims

Jeremy Renner returns to the big screen after recovering from a snowplow accident. According to his representatives, he suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” after being run over by a snowcat on January 1, 2023.

But one of the actor’s Mayor of Kingstown co-stars recently revealed that the extent of Renner’s injuries may have been even more serious than previously thought.

Jeremy Renner’s heart stopped beating for a while after a snowplow accident

Michael Beach, who plays Captain Kareem in Mayor of Kingstown, recently shared what Jeremy Renner told him about his accident. Renner had broken 38 bones and was clinically dead because his heart stopped beating for a moment after he was run over by the snow groomer.

In an interview with The Direct’s Russ Milheim, Beach praised Renner, saying:

“Jeremy (Renner) is a war horse, man. I mean, this guy broke 38 bones. He actually died, which I didn’t know until he told me, and he came back. And he says he’s not sure what it would be like. But he was ready.”

Beach continued to talk about Renner’s remarkable recovery, saying he is doing better now and feels “stronger and stronger” every week. The third season of Mayor of Kingstown will soon stream on Paramount+.

After the third season of Mayor of Kingstown, Renner doesn’t have many projects planned. But he’s expected to make a comeback as Clint Barton in the MCU at some point in the future, and two more Avengers projects are currently on the docket.

In February, Renner also confirmed that he was ready to return to the MCU. He said he was “always ready” and “will be strong enough.” He concluded by saying, “If they want me, they can have me.”
