“The Walking Dead” spin-off “Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol” will be released on September 29th

AMC announced on Friday that The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carolthe second season of his Norman Reedus-Spin-off with cast will premiere on September 29th.

As already reported and as the title suggests, the second season also revolves around the fan favorite Melissa McBrideis Carol Peletier, Daryl’s ride-or-die from the original series.

McBride was originally set to star in a two-star spin-off with Reedus, but a move to a European location caused the actress to change her mind. The show’s first season focused entirely on Daryl becoming mysteriously stranded in France during the Walker apocalypse.

The network previews the second season with fan favorites “both are confronted with old demons as she struggles to find her boyfriend and he struggles with his decision to stay in France.”

The series premieres on September 29th on both AMC and AMC+.
