Headmaster of a school run by the RSS allegedly raped a student in Uttar Pradesh; fugitive

Kaushambi: In a shocking incident that has brought shame to teacher-student relations, a principal of a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)-run school in Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi district raped a student on the pretext of helping her with her schoolwork, police said.

After the obscene video of the accused surfaced, the police registered a case and started searching for the accused. The police have deployed several teams for his arrest.

The shocking case came to light in the Kokhraj police station area.

A police official said that the accused school principal DK Mishra had approached the financially poor family of the girl on the pretext of helping her and the family. Though the accused often visited the family, he allegedly raped the girl in school on the pretext of helping her, an official said. According to the official, he sexually abused the student for a long time.

Meanwhile, an obscene video of the school principal with the girl went viral on Friday. After the video went viral on social media, the student’s mother filed a complaint against the school principal at Kokhraj police station, following which the police registered a case. The accused is absconding even though several teams have been formed to arrest him, Sirathu CO Avdhesh Vishwakarma said.

“The police are investigating the entire case. He will be caught soon,” said Vishwakarma. It was revealed that the accused headmaster was earlier also accused of raping a minor student, for which he was also beaten by the villagers.
