Mississippi man and woman arrested in Santa Rosa County for counterfeiting

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) – A Mississippi man and woman were arrested Thursday in Santa Rosa County after officers conducted a traffic stop, according to the SRC Sheriff’s Office.

A Facebook post from the SRCSO said officers stopped a 2015 Mercedes after the driver allegedly violated window tint on westbound Interstate 10.

According to reports, the officers noticed a “drug rush,” which triggered a search after sufficient suspicion.

During the search, officers reportedly found 12 pairs of AirPods, eight Apple Watches, nine iPhones, 15 Pro Max phones, seven iPads and two MacBook Pro laptops.

“The total retail value of the actual Apple items is $19,610.81,” the post said.

Patrick Carlos Chattman, 38, of Wiggins, Mississippi, is charged with possession of counterfeit goods valued between $2,500 and $20,000, a third-degree felony, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Alize Keosha Jordan, 28, of Wiggins, Mississippi, is charged with possession of counterfeit goods valued between $2,500 and $20,000.
