Man wanted for stealing money from supermarket, Atlanta police say

ATLANTA, Georgia (Atlanta News First) – Atlanta police say a man is wanted for stealing a bag full of money from a convenience store.

The Atlanta Police Department said officers were called to the gas station at 1683 Lakewood Avenue SE around 11:45 p.m. on June 2. The manager told police that an employee was collecting money from the store’s slot machines when a man took the bag containing the money and ran away.

According to police, the man was wearing a gray T-shirt with black jeans, white sneakers and a black cap.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477. There is a reward of up to $2,000 for information.
