Woman and man killed in Louisville motorcycle crash identified

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has determined the identities of the two people killed in a crash Thursday. Watch our initial coverage of the story in the player above. The coroner said Amanda Upshaw, 32, and Roger Pendleton, 51, died of blunt force trauma from the crash. The crash happened around 10 p.m. in the area of ​​Taylor Boulevard and Arling Avenue, near Iroquois High School. Police said Pendleton was driving and Upshaw was a passenger. A pickup truck pulled in front of the motorcycle, according to LMPD. Pendleton was pronounced dead at the scene and Upshaw was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later died, LMPD said. The driver of the truck remained at the scene and was not injured, police said. LMPD said no charges will be filed; LMPD’s traffic unit is conducting the investigation.
