5th stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné cancelled after mass accident in the peloton

The 5th stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné was neutralised after two mass crashes 21 km from the end, in which numerous riders fell, including the wearer of the yellow jersey Remco Evenepoel (Soudal-Quick Step), Primož Roglič (Bora-Hansgrohe) and Juan Ayuso (UAE Team Emirates).

The race stewards abandoned the race after two almost simultaneous crashes occurred in the peloton on a wet downhill stretch on the finishing straight in Saint-Priest.
