Man and woman on motorcycle killed in accident in Beechmont district

A man and woman riding a motorcycle were killed in a crash in the Beechmont neighborhood Thursday night, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department. Police said the crash occurred around 10 p.m. in the area of ​​Taylor Boulevard and Arling Avenue, near Iroquois High School. According to LMPD, a pickup truck pulled in front of a motorcycle, and the man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital, where she died shortly afterward. Police said the driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and was uninjured. No charges are expected, according to LMPD. LMPD’s traffic unit is conducting the investigation.
