DC police search for suspect in broad daylight stabbing

WASHINGTON, DC — The DC Metro Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect involved in a stabbing attack in Northeast DC. The attack occurred around 12:51 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of 45th Street.

Officers from the Sixth Precinct found a male victim with stab wounds. He was immediately transported to a hospital as his injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The suspect, seen on surveillance video, is still at large.

Police have released surveillance images and video of the suspect, which are available here. They are asking anyone with information to contact them at (202) 727-9099 or the TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.
