Houston police release photos of suspects in fatal shooting | Texas

Houston, TX — Police have released surveillance photos of two suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 2520 Airline Drive early this morning.

The suspects, believed to be two Hispanic men last seen wearing dark-colored hoodies, are shown in the attached surveillance photos. The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 40s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Vinogradov and D. Crowder reported that patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the address and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene.

Investigators learned the suspects had broken into a business on site and attempted to steal a golf cart parked near the exit. An employee tried to stop them, which led to a physical altercation. A suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene.
