Rockford police investigate shooting

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Rockford police are investigating a shooting Thursday night.

A man was shot in the 2600 block of Lawndale Ave. Police say his injuries are unknown at the time of the incident. A suspect has been arrested.

SHOOTING INVESTIGATION: An adult male was shot in the 2600 block of Lawndale Avenue. His injuries are unknown at this time. A possible suspect has been identified and arrested. Additional details will be released as they become available.
