Driver in hospital after accident at the Isle of Man TT

On Tuesday, a rider suffered serious injuries in an accident during the Isle of Man TT. The rider involved is Anthony Redmond, who had to be taken to hospital by helicopter.

According to Isle of Man Today, citing a statement from the organisation, the Manx rider is “stable and conscious” and is being treated in hospital. He suffered a leg injury and was taken to Noble’s Hospital.

It is worth mentioning that the Supertwin race scheduled for Tuesday evening was postponed due to rainy weather after the warm-up lap.

The Isle of Man TT runs until Saturday 8 June, with four races left on the programme: the second Supersport race, the second Superstock race, the second Supertwin race and the Senior TT race, which is the highlight of the programme.
