NACHEZ, La. – The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide in Natchez.

On Tuesday evening at 8:16 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of LA. Hwy 119, south of Natchez Place Apartments.

One victim was found with a gunshot wound. That person was taken to the hospital where he died.

Investigators are working to identify a suspect who fled the scene.
