I told you that my baby is attentive and considerate, and I truly believe that he did that for us.”

Levi was initially taken to hospital after the accident. From the moment my phone rang the night of his accident, to last night when I received the news that he had to go. I don’t want to focus on the bad or sad, even though it feels like someone ripped out my heart and crushed it right in front of my eyes. I want to focus on the many miracles we all witnessed in those 12 days.”

Clark, who described herself as Levi’s “Aunt Mindy,” said the response she and the Wright family have received has been “absolutely incredible” as strangers have come together to send Levi their best wishes despite the tragedy.

“Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people surrounded our best little buddy, praying for him and lovingly embracing Levi and his family,” she continued. “We have never seen or experienced anything like this before. I don’t know if we will ever be able to fully process it.”

Clark called Levi the “the most perfect three-year-old ever. So perfect we couldn’t keep him. This little boy has moved mountains in the last 12 days. He has brought so many people together. In such a dark world we have seen light through the hands of a child. He is everything his mommy and daddy would have wanted him to be.”
