OKAY. DAISY, THANK YOU. CINCINNATI POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A DOWNTOWN CAR THEFT. THE VICTIM, A HAMILTON COUNTY OFFICE EMPLOYEE WHO WAS HOLDING AT GUNPOINT, WAS SITTING IN HER VEHICLE. THE PERSON HELD HER AT GUNPOINT, STOLE HER PURSE AND VEHICLE. IT HAPPENED. JUST AFTER SIX THIS MORNING NEAR SYCAMORE STREET AND READING ROAD, DIRECTLY ACROSS THE HAMILTON COUNTY COURTHOUSE. THE VICTIM WAS NOT INJURED, BUT THE SUSPECTS TAKEN HER PURSE AND CAR. SINCE CINNATI POLICE CONFIRMED THEY WERE ABLE TO RECOVER THE VICTIM’S CAR TODAY.

Cincinnati police are investigating a carjacking that occurred Thursday morning in downtown Cincinnati. It occurred just after 6 a.m. Thursday near Sycamore Street and Reading Road, across from the Hamilton County Courthouse. Sources confirmed to WLWT that the victim was an employee of the Hamilton County Clerk’s Office. Police said the victim was not injured, but the suspects stole her purse and car. Police were able to recover the vehicle later Thursday. So far, police have not made any arrests in this case.

Cincinnati police are investigating a car theft that occurred Thursday morning in downtown Cincinnati.

It happened shortly after 6 a.m. Thursday near Sycamore Street and Reading Road, across from the Hamilton County Courthouse.

Sources confirmed to WLWT that the victim was a Hamilton County government employee.

Police said the victim was not injured, but the suspects stole her purse and car. Police were able to recover the vehicle later Thursday.

So far, the police have not arrested anyone in this case.
