Missing Napa motorcyclist James Millimaki found dead

A motorcyclist missing since Sunday was found dead Thursday afternoon near the 1400 block of Mount Veeder Road, Napa police said.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, 46-year-old James Millimaki was found dead on an embankment on Mount Veeder Road. Police concluded he lost control of the vehicle for reasons currently under investigation. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Millimaki went missing on Sunday afternoon. He was last seen on his yellow 2018 Suzuki at 3 p.m. that day. DRZ-400 Motorcycle, Napa police previously said.

According to Napa police, this does not appear to be a suspicious accident.
