Winter Haven installs lightning warning system near outdoor recreation facilities

If you visit any of Winter Haven’s recreational facilities, you may hear sirens blaring as the city tests its newly installed flash warning system. Safety is always top of mind when Lynn Marshall takes her daughters and nieces to Winter Haven’s Rowdy Gaines Pool. She’s glad to hear the city is prioritizing outdoor safety, too.
