Madison County Sheriff’s Office seeks suspect in murder – WNWS Radio

On June 5, 2024, at approximately 9:41 p.m., Madison County Sheriff’s officers responded to a shooting at a residence in the area of ​​Upper Browns Church Road in eastern Madison County.

When officers arrived, they found a black male victim outside the residence being treated by emergency personnel for a gunshot wound.

The victim, 21-year-old Forest Johnson III, later succumbed to his injuries.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit examined the scene and conducted an investigation into the shooting. During their investigation, they identified Quinterious Long, a 19-year-old black male from Jackson, Tennessee, as the shooter in this incident.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office has issued an arrest warrant for Quinterious Long on a charge of involuntary manslaughter.
