Campbellton Road shooting in Atlanta

ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating what may have led to a shooting Thursday afternoon that left people injured.

Atlanta police were called to the 2600 block of Campbellton Rd. SW just before 3:20 p.m. Police said a 20-year-old man was shot in the leg. Police also found a 36-year-old man nearby injured by flying glass.

Police say both men were taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The preliminary investigation determined that someone fired shots while the men were outside of 2640 Campbellton Road. SW. Investigators are studying the circumstances of these shootings.
