Apparent murder-suicide under investigation in Chickasaw: Mobile County Sheriff’s Office

CHICKASAW, Alabama (WKRG) – A man and his girlfriend were found dead early Thursday morning in Chickasaw in what appears to be a murder-suicide, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a press release from the MCSO, Chickasaw police were called to a home on Ryan Street around 5:30 a.m. Thursday because two people had reportedly been shot.


Officers called MCSO deputies to assist in the case.

When officers arrived, they found 27-year-old Tracus Wiggins and 25-year-old Hayley Sharpe dead under the carport of their home, the press release said.

The press release said Wiggins was found on the floor of the carport and Sharpe was found in her vehicle; both were shot in the head.

Deputies said the crime was suspected to be a murder-suicide, but they won’t know for sure until toxicology reports and an autopsy are available.
