Champaign police search for missing teenager

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) – Champaign police are searching for a 16-year-old who disappeared in April.

Cameron A. Bozarth unexpectedly left the care of a local facility on April 8, police said, and was reported missing several days later. He was last seen walking north on Prospect Avenue near Church Street. He was wearing a black hoodie, khaki pants and black and green shoes.


Bozarth is a white man with black or brown hair. He has a piercing in his right ear. He may also be known as “Anthony”.

Champaign police confirmed that Bozarth had previously been released from custody of other facilities. Police consider him a missing and at-risk juvenile.

Authorities continue to search for Bozarth and say he may still be in the area.
