Gorham police search for dirt bike rider after incident on trail

GORHAM – Police are asking the public for help in locating a dirt bike rider connected to an incident on the Mountain Division Trail the evening of June 4.

Officer Erickson of the Gorham Police Department would like to speak with the male operator of a black and white dirt bike who was wearing a black helmet at the time of the incident.

Authorities have not provided further details on the nature of the incident, but are urging anyone with information about the operator or the incident to come forward.

Gorham Police are actively investigating the case and are urging the dirt bike rider or anyone with relevant information to contact Officer Erickson directly.

Residents and regular visitors to the trail area are asked to remain alert and report any sightings or information that may assist in the investigation.
