June 6 (UPI) – Nina Dobrev is recovering from her recent bicycle accident.

The 35-year-old actress gave an update on Wednesday after undergoing surgery to repair her injuries from the accident.

“The surgery was a success,” Dobrev wrote on Instagram. “Thank you to everyone who sent me kind messages, thoughts, prayers and good vibes. I felt the support and positive energy. This means more to me than you will ever know.”

Dobrev also shared photos of herself on Instagram Stories preparing for surgery on her left leg.
