Kristen Stewart reflects on speculation surrounding her sexuality

Kristen Stewart has reflected on the speculation surrounding her sexuality.

The 33-year-old actress opened up about the public attention on her relationships during an interview diversity, published January 11th. During the conversation, she recalled how she made headlines when she publicly came out as gay in February 2017 Saturday Night Livewhile responding to how then US President Donald Trump had previously urged her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson to break up with her.

“I have many different experiences that shape me and that are anything but binary,” she said. “But I got good at the heteronormative quality. I play this role well. It comes from a somewhat real place, it’s not fake. But it sucks that if I were gayer it wouldn’t be the case.”

Stewart continues to be open about romantic relationships as she has been engaged to her partner Dylan Meyer since 2021. During an interview with Andy Cohen in October 2023, she opened up about her future wedding plans and revealed that Guy Fieri could be officiating the wedding.
