16-year-old dies in shooting at Sweetbriar Circle, JPD continues investigation – WNWS Radio

Jackson Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a 16-year-old male juvenile and are asking for any information that may assist in the ongoing investigation.

On June 1, 2024, at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to a call to 81 Sweetbriar Circle where a 16-year-old juvenile had been shot.

The victim was dead when officers arrived. The investigation is ongoing and Jackson Police are asking anyone with information that may help solve this crime to contact the police department at 731-425-8400 or 731-424-8477 (TIPS).
