Sex offender denies new rape allegations and claims family fabricated charges over property dispute

A 45-year-old South African man who was convicted of possessing child pornography in Australia in 2016 has pleaded not guilty in South Africa to charges of raping and sexually assaulting his nephews.

The man, whose name cannot be disclosed to protect the identity of his nephews, appeared in court at the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

He pleaded not guilty to one count of rape, two counts of sexual assault and one count of broadcasting pornography to a child.
